Anonymous → What do you consider sid and geno out of character? (For future reference ~winkwink~)
think to yourself, in a hypothetical situation in which the fic is actual legit real life, could you imagine sid/geno saying a certain line/feeling a certain emotion/doing a certain activity?
for example, a fic in which sid is crying himself to sleep after reading a bad review of his game performance and texting geno to come over to cheer him up is not believable at all to me and i wouldn’t want to read it?
i actually don’t know shit i’m not a fic writer or anything.

Anonymous → So my friend's dad works for the rangers and so she and her brother go to a lot of games and she always takes me so I get the wifi password (lifesaver tbh) and one time she took me down to the locker room when the pens were in town and I literally almost shat my pants. Like honestly, I met nealer I just about cried and then right after I met sid and geno and OLLI I swear that I almost passed out it was so embarrassinf I cant even talk about it without my face going red but they were so sweet omg
oh so you met nealer and sid and geno and olli okay no big deal
Anonymous → One time, I met Sid at one of the Starbucks in Pittsburgh. It was completely by accident too. I had dropped my coffee on the floor like a total loser, and while everyone stood there and stared at me, he got out of line and helped me clean it up. Basically he is the nicest person I have ever met, he was so helpful and even offered to buy me another coffee.
Anonymous → I was walking around Pittsburg after touring U-Pitt and basically I walked into this random person because I was on google maps because we were going to get milkshakes. And basically I looked up and guess who it was? Sidney Crosby. Going to get milkshakes. He was really nice, and helped us find where we were going! (Don't laugh but it was like two doors down but my friends and I are so directionally challenged)
your milkshakes didn’t just bring all the boys to the yard
it brought fucking sidney crosby to the yard
Anonymous → Okay, my husband bought me a ticket to get an autograph from Geno for Xmas (signing was in Jan). I literally spoke three barely understandable words. My 6 yo stood just as silently by. Later we were looking at the pics and trying to figure out why he looked half amused looking at her. She told us she was making a face at him bc she had "no idea what happening." There's also a pic of him looking directly at me. I have no idea this was happening bc I cannot possibly make eye contact with him.
bless your 6yo for making faces at geno
she’s a genius because
geno’s kryptonite is children
Anonymous → sid drove past me and i didn't notice it was him at first then i saw his face in the side mirror and i was like holy shit and then i kinda jumped and screamed and he beeped the horn and was laughing.
Anonymous → I once met Geno after an away game in Toronto, I could barely speak to him as I was so nervous, but he told me something along the lines of "why you scared? I'm nice" and smiled. I just about died. Anyway the man is adorable, so friendly, so much taller in real life and just a fantastic person
